From the Developer
Welcome — and thank you for checking out ParishPocketPro.
I created ParishPocketPro out of necessity.
As a parish business manager and consultant, I deal with a constant stream of information: new contacts, management directives, ideas, to-do lists, and countless photos documenting events, maintenance issues, repairs and renovations, insurance claims, and emergencies.
Buried in sticky notes, scraps of paper, multiple notebooks filled with incomplete or undated entries, and hundreds of photos, I needed a better way to manage work-related notes and photos.
I set out looking for an app that would enable me to:
But that wasn’t enough…
Who can remember all the parish management best practices, medical emergency procedures, city compliance requirements, and diocesan guidelines that are often critical to running a parish? And who has time to search for that information — especially in the moment it’s needed most?
So, I also wanted in an app a clear, concise, and reliable compendium of that essential information — accessible in real time, exactly when and where I needed it.
With no such app on the market, I decided to create an app myself. Well, not all by myself. With the help of FIVERR, I hooked up with a most excellent coder.
